Little surprise here: Low-performing Traffic Light has been nixed. After premiering with a 1.9 in the 18-49 demo, Traffic Light continued the trend of failed Fox live-action sitcoms.

The Chicago Code canceled…

Extremely disappointing.

Shawn Ryan’s The Chicago Code has been canceled. The series had shown some small gains recently, yet the series never managed to climb out of the mid-1s during its last few episodes. Ryan has a new, overall deal with Sony TV.

Neither of Fox’s new dramas made the cut this year.

More surprises!

Fox has picked up multi-cam I Hate My Teenage Daughter. Fox has also passed on Weekends at Bellevue which seemed like a sure thing. The network has also passed on comedy Iceland.

Buzz is that I Hate My Teenage Daughter and Exit Strategy will be picked up, but some details are still being hammered out with licensing fees and salaries.

Human Target is dead after making a huge surge recently in the buzz to get renewed. Sorry, guys.

Variety is reporting that Touch is picked up. I’ve heard conflicting reports, but it looks like Touch is a go.

SURPRISE! Alcatraz and The Finder picked up to series!

First big surprise of the upfront year!

According to Deadline, Fox has picked up both Alcatraz and The Finder to series. Earlier reports suggested that Fox would pass on the former and somehow incorporate the later into Bones.
