What’s been holding Fox up? House. Now that it’s basically done…

Nellie Andreeva at Deadline Hollywood reports that negotiations on House‘s cast contracts are almost complete, with only Edelstein left to sign on. The only major snags now are the exact licensing fee reduction, the episode pickup, and the season pickup. However, it doesn’t look like House is leaving the Fox family, and it seems the deals should be finished tonight (or early tomorrow morning).

Now that Fox’s last major player is all but wrapped up, series orders should start trickling in, likely tomorrow or Wednesday for the News Corp. network. NBC and ABC are expected to start making early pickups starting either tomorrow or Wednesday as well (I’d be more inclined to say Wednesday or Thursday, but we’ll see). Expect Fox to pick up The New Girl and Family Album, NBC to snag Smash, and ABC to order Charlie’s Angels.
