9/14/10 Ratings – Life Unexpected, One Tree Hill down, Parenthood ok

1st Place: NBC

Minute to Win It (finale) – 6.5 million, 1.9 in the demo

America’s Got Talent (finale) – 14.3 million, 3.8 in the demo

Parenthood (premiere) – 7.7 million, 2.7 in the demo

2nd place: ABC

Wipeout (finale) – 6.9 million, 2.7 in the demo

Final Witness – 4.8 million, 1.4 in the demo

3rd place: FOX

Glee (repeat) – 4.6 million, 1.7 in the demo

4th place: CBS

NCIS (repeat) – 10.5 million, 1.8 in the demo

NCIS:LA (repeat) – 8.2 million, 1.5 in the demo

Fashion’s Night Out 2010 (repeat) – 3.0 million, 0.6 in the demo

5th place: the CW

One Tree Hill (premiere) – 2.2 million, 1.1 in the demo

Life Unexpected (premiere) – 1.7 million, 0.8 in the demo

Comments: Ouch for Life Unexpected. This is not what you want to see in a premiere, though numbers for the CW are down across the board. One Tree Hill fared a little better, but besides probably getting a back 9 order, this will most likely be it unless the show picks up steam or everything else on the network crumbles.

For the non-CW premieres, Parenthood did ok, matching its season finale from last spring. However, it’s not the numbers you want to see from a season starter, especially for NBC.
